TikTok Has A New Way For Advertisers Reach Users

The most popular social media platform is turning up the heat on its advertising capabilities.

In the last few months, TikTok has added new features Available as a way for advertisers to help monetize their platform.

The latest addition for advertisers is called TikTok Pulse: a way for brands to help them be part of the everyday moments and culture in which the community engages.

What is TikTok Pulse?

TikTok Pulse is a new contextual advertising solution, which means your ads appear around top content.

More specifically, your ads can appear next to content in your feed for the user.

TikTok said its new Pulse solution will show your brand’s TikTok ad in the top 4% of all videos on that platform.

Additional benefits of TikTok Pulse include:

  • Increase engagement and action
  • Confidence in brand suitability measurement

Currently, TikTok will offer 12 categories of pulses for brands to choose from to showcase their content. Some of the categories included (but not all included) are:

  • beauty
  • dress
  • cooking
  • Gambling

By allowing you to choose the category of display of your ads, it gives you the ability to connect with groups that are most relevant to you.

To ensure that your ads are playing next to the top content, TikTok will use its in-house built-in inventory filter.

They ensure that the content shown is verified at the highest level of brand suitability on the platform.

One way you’ll be able to measure that impact is through third party brand suitability and visibility verification. You will have access to these tools for post-campaign measurements.

An emerging revenue sharing program

Since TikTok’s platform is so diverse with different creators, public figures and advertisers, the company is rolling out its first revenue share program.

As of now, individual producers and media publishers who have at least 100k followers are eligible for the program.

We will update this post as more information becomes available about the new revenue sharing program.
