Hollywood actor Ezra Miller arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct at bar, released later

Actor Ezra Miller was arrested late Sunday after an incident on charges of “disorderly conduct and harassment” at a bar in the Hawaiian city of Hilo, local police said.

The actor, who starred in Warner Bros.’ upcoming films “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” and “The Flash”, was later released after posting US$500 bail for both crimes. The Hawaii Police Department said in a statement on Facebook Monday night, Miller “getted excited while patrons at the bar began to sing karaoke”.

According to police, the 29-year-old allegedly “began shouting obscenities and at one point grabbed a microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke … and later pounced on a 32-year-old man playing darts.”

Subsequently, Miller was arrested and charged with “disorderly conduct and harassment,” he said. Police said he was released after furnishing a surety of $500. The actor first appeared in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” as Barry Allen / The Flash. He has since starred as a DC superhero in films such as “Suicide Squad” and “Justice League”.
